💡 Where are you from?
I’m originally from California and then I lived in Arizona. I was born and raised in a farming town with a lot of extended family. I loved that. I “helped” my grandpa at his store and got paid in ice cream. Some of my adventurous moments included white water rafting trips, hikes and camping at Havasupai (part of the Grand Canyon), slot canyon hikes, the natural water slide at Oak Creek, and great outdoor concerts in Sedona.
After marrying and starting a family, we moved back east to my husband’s hometown of Riverside; our kids enjoyed sailing and the area’s highlights including lighthouses, the Newport mansions, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, kayaking, etc. The Crescent Park Looff Carousel and all the beaches were a favorite. 💡 Is there someone (living or dead) you would like to meet?
I know there are so many interesting, intelligent, talented, funny people to pick from. It might even choose my own great grandmother whom I’ve never met so I can ask her about her Native American heritage and resolve an old family (friendly) disagreement. Alternately, if I could “time travel,” I’d love to go to The Troubadour or some outdoor venue in Ventura or Santa Barbara to attend a 70s Seals & Crofts concert .
