Social media has become one of the most powerful, and overlooked, sources of evidence in modern litigation. Location data, third-party tags, and posts that undermine credibility can all create serious consequences across criminal, civil, and family law matters.

Join DarrowEverett LLP Senior Associate Laura Nicholson for her CLE presentation, “TMI: How Your Client’s Need for Likes Is Hurting Their Case,” where she’ll explore the four most common social media mistakes clients make and share practical strategies attorneys can use to counsel clients proactively and protect against avoidable risks.

Attendees will gain actionable insights into preserving evidence, navigating privacy misconceptions, and incorporating social media guidance into client intake and case management.

DarrowEverett Partner Timothy Conlon was featured in a recent Boston Globe article following Governor Dan McKee's signing of landmark legislation expanding access to justice for survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

The new law extends the statute of limitations for childhood sexual abuse claims and creates a revival window for previously expired claims against institutions and supervisors responsible for enabling or concealing abuse. For many survivors, the legislation represents a long-awaited opportunity to have their voices heard and pursue accountability.

At the bill signing, Tim emphasized the importance of ensuring that "justice delayed" does not become "justice denied," and that organizations that place their own interests above the safety of children should not be shielded from accountability.
