Happy Labor Day! 💜

Today, we celebrate the people behind the work—the dedication, discipline, and commitment that keep businesses, teams, and communities moving forward.

At SourcePro Consultants, we believe hard work matters—but hard work shouldn't have to compensate for broken systems.

The right processes, workflows, and technology should make the work easier, not add more of it.

So today, close the laptop, ignore the notifications, and enjoy the break. You earned it. 😉

Happy Labor Day from SourcePro Consultants!

Why 79% of Law Firms Have AI But Can’t Use It

Buying AI is one thing. Building the workflows that make it useful is another.

I break down why workflow-first AI adoption matters and what law firms should be designing before adding another tool.

Attorneys and legal professionals — I’m going LIVE for CLE training! ⚖️💻

On August 28 at 3:00 PM ET, I’ll be presenting:

AI in Law: Why Good Design Comes First

Here’s the conversation I want firms to have:

Before asking, “Which AI tool should we buy?”
Ask, “What workflow is this AI supposed to improve?”

Because adding AI to a broken or undefined process doesn’t magically create efficiency. Sometimes it just makes the chaos faster. 😅

Join me for a practical conversation about designing legal operations so AI actually has a system to work within.

"69% of legal professionals use AI tools personally. Only 34% of firms have actually adopted them at the firm level. That's a 35-point gap — and it's not about the software. It's about the workflow nobody designed around it. Swipe through to see what actually closes it, and how SourcePro's 5-phase method gets firms there. 🚀 **The new SourcePro Consultants website is LIVE!**

This isn’t just a new look. The new site reflects what SourcePro Consultants is really about: helping law firms build **better systems behind the work they already do.**

On the new site, you can:

⚙️ Explore **law firm automation** solutions
📊 See **case management system prototypes**
🧰 Use **free tools** to identify operational gaps in your business
🔗 Learn how your **intake, workflows, case management, automation, and reporting** can work together instead of operating in silos

Because adding more technology isn’t always the answer.

Sometimes the real problem is that the technology you already have was never designed to work as **one connected system.**

That’s the work I do.

If your firm is growing, but your processes, systems, or technology aren’t keeping up, come take a look around.

My career path isn't typical — and that's exactly why I can do what I do.

I spent 15+ years inside legal operations before becoming a software engineer.

Along the way, I kept seeing the same problem:

A vendor sells the software.
Someone else migrates the data.
The firm gets trained.

And yet, six months later, the system still isn't working the way everyone expected.

Why?

Because **nobody owned the gap between the firm's operations and its technology.**

That's the part I learned to own.

I didn't leave legal operations behind when I moved into technology. I added the technical skills I needed to solve the problems I'd already spent years seeing from the inside.

This carousel explains what a Legal Operations Manager actually does — and why the job is about a lot more than choosing software.

**Swipe through →**

If your firm's technology isn't delivering what you were promised, the software may not be the real problem.

**Let's find the gaps in the system behind it.**

Here are 3 options. Based on your content rotation this should be a Checklist or Framework post since your last two were Decision and Authority.

Option 1 - Framework Post (Recommended)
Most service business owners guess at this number.
Here is how to actually calculate it in 60 seconds:
→ Enter your average service ticket value
→ Enter how many leads you get per month
→ Enter your current close rate
→ Estimate how many leads go cold with no follow-up
→ Add what you currently pay for disconnected tools
The calculator shows you:

Leads you are losing every month
Revenue walking out the door every year
What you recover when a system is in place
How long before the setup pays for itself
Which tier makes sense for your business

No email. No sales call to see it. Just your numbers.

Your intake automation is not broken because of the tool.
It is broken because the workflow was never designed.
Most law firms jump straight to buying a CRM, setting up a booking calendar, and building a form - then wonder why leads are still falling through the cracks six months later.
The technology is not the problem. The missing operational layer underneath it is.
In this article I break down the exact intake framework we use at SourcePro Consultants - starting with the one question most firms cannot answer:
Do you know where every lead went last month?
If not - this is for you.
