Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund The Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund educates and advocates to protect and advance sexual health We are a 501(c)(4), not-for-profit organization.

We engage in educational and non-electoral activity including legislative advocacy, voter education and grassroots organizing to ensure that Mainers have access to comprehensive reproductive and complementary health care services in settings which preserve and protect the essential privacy and rights of the individual. Through our PAC, we engage in electoral activities including endorsement and ca

mpaign support for candidates running for state office who support Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund’s mission, and who believe that politicians should not be involved in a woman’s personal medical decisions about her pregnancy. The Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund PAC heard from the five gubernatorial candidates in the Democratic primary, who all earned 100% in PPMEAF PAC’s candidate questionnaire gauging their support for reproductive rights and access to care, and we invited them to share their thoughts about these issues on video.

These canvasses are a way to cut through the chaos of news headlines and remind people that PPNNE is committed to providing compassionate, nonjudgemental health care to anyone who needs it, regardless of insurance or ability to pay.
