Happy Birthday to our very own Andrea & Roxy! 🎂⚖️🐾💙

Andrea Leeder, Esq., MBA, wears many hats at Leeder Law: attorney, problem-solver, and unofficial office mom. And right by her side is Roxy, our four-legged colleague, Chief Morale Officer, and arguably the most adorable member of the Leeder Law family. 🐶

Outside the office, Andrea is just as busy: a devoted mother to two sets of twins, loving wife, accomplished cellist, entrepreneur, and passionate supporter of the arts. Whether she’s advocating for a client, untangling an operational challenge, playing Bach on her cello, organizing something for the team, or juggling her many responsibilities, Andrea brings energy, determination, creativity, and a whole lot of heart to everything she does.

And then there’s Roxy, who reminds us that sometimes the most important things in life are a little affection, a good treat, and knowing when to take a nap. 🐾

Together, Andrea and Roxy bring their own unique personalities to Leeder Law. One keeps everyone on their toes, and the other keeps everyone smiling. We’ll let you decide who’s who! 😂

Kol Nidrei, Op. 47, by Max Bruch.

Kol Nidrei, meaning “All Vows” in Aramaic, is the name of the solemn declaration traditionally recited at the beginning of the evening service that ushers in Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement and the holiest day of the Jewish year.

Observed with prayer, fasting, reflection, repentance, and seeking forgiveness, Yom Kippur is a sacred time to examine the year that has passed, make amends, and seek reconciliation with God and with one another.

Bruch was not Jewish, but in 1880 he composed Kol Nidrei for cello and orchestra, drawing upon traditional Jewish melodies. The opening is based on the melody associated with the Kol Nidrei declaration, giving the cello a voice that feels solemn, searching, and almost prayerful.

In honor of Yom Kippur, a small excerpt from Max Bruch’s Kol Nidrei, Op. 47. 🎻 played by Leeder Law attorney and cellist Andrea Leeder.

🇺🇸 Happy Constitution Day! 🇺🇸

On September 17, 1787, delegates to the Constitutional Convention gathered in Philadelphia to sign the United States Constitution, establishing the framework for a new system of government.

The original document contained seven articles. Four years later, in 1791, the first ten amendments, known collectively as the Bill of Rights, were ratified, protecting fundamental liberties including freedom of speech and religion, due process, and other individual rights.

More than two centuries later, the Constitution remains the foundation of American law and the oldest written national constitution still in force today.

For those of us in the legal profession, Constitution Day is also an opportunity to reflect on the responsibility entrusted to lawyers and courts to uphold the rule of law and protect the rights guaranteed under our system of government.

Today, we remember the history, the principles, and the continuing responsibility behind three powerful words:

“We the People.” 🇺🇸⚖️

Once upon a time at Leeder Law… our amazing personal injury litigation & trial attorney Sean Goldstein stepped away from briefs, depositions, and case files for a very special assignment: DAD DUTY. 👶🏻🍼⚖️

Now that Sean is back from paternity leave, the Leeder Law family finally got to celebrate the arrival of beautiful Baby Ella with our very belated office baby shower! 💕

We welcomed Sean back with pastries, bagels, coffee, mimosas 🥂, plenty of baby stories, and even put our investigative skills to work during the infamous Dirty Diaper Game. 🕵🏻‍♀️💩😂

Congratulations again to Sean, his beautiful wife Meghan, and Baby Ella. We’re so happy to be a small part of this very special chapter for your family. 💗
