🍒 Happy National Cherry Turnover Day! 🍒

Some days call for a fancy dessert… and some days call for something quick, easy, and delicious.

These simple cherry turnovers come together with just a few ingredients and are perfect when you want a sweet treat without spending all day in the kitchen.

✨ Refrigerated crescent roll dough
🍒 Cherry pie filling
🤍 A little powdered sugar on top

Bake until golden, let them cool slightly, and enjoy!

Real Estate Advice I’d Give My Friends and Future Clients 🏡✨

If I were giving honest home-buying advice to the people closest to me, it would be this:

Your first home should be looked at as an investment property first. It may not be your forever home, but it should still make financial sense for your future.

A few other things I always tell people to pay attention to:

• Stay away from high HOAs whenever possible
• Walk the neighborhood and meet potential neighbors before making a decision
• Think twice about neighborhoods that allow parking on both sides of the street — it can make things feel crowded and harder to navigate
• Pay attention to which direction the home faces and where the sun hits most, especially if enjoying the backyard matters to you

Buying a home is about more than the house itself. It’s also about the lifestyle, the long-term value, and how the home will work for you day to day.

What’s one piece of real estate advice you think every buyer should know?

As a mom, this one really made me stop and think. ❤️

I’ve been incredibly blessed that childcare was never an expense I had to add to our family budget, and I don’t take that for granted. But I can absolutely understand how overwhelming it must feel for families trying to juggle a mortgage or rent, groceries, utilities, everyday expenses…and then add childcare on top of it all. 😳

For many parents, choosing where to live isn’t simply about finding a home they love anymore. It’s also about asking, “Can we actually afford our life here?”

And that’s something I think we sometimes forget when talking about real estate. A home’s price is only one piece of the puzzle. Schools, commute times, childcare options, taxes and everyday living expenses all play a part in whether a community truly works for your family.

If you’re raising little ones right now and paying for childcare, I have to ask…

Last week was one for the books! 🏡✨

FOUR closings — helping my sellers officially hand over the keys and celebrating with a buyer as they stepped into their new home. 🔑❤️

Every closing represents so much more than paperwork. It’s a move, a milestone, a fresh start, and a brand-new chapter.

I’m incredibly grateful to each of my clients for trusting me to guide them through such an important moment. Congratulations to all! 🥂🏠

Friday has officially entered the chat. 😎☀️

Before the weekend gets going, I love the idea of doing a quick little Friday Home Reset—nothing major, nothing that turns into an accidental 4-hour cleaning marathon. 😂

Clear the kitchen counters, toss anything questionable from the fridge, start one load of laundry, water the plants, and give the main living space a quick pickup.

That’s it. Done. ✅

Your home doesn’t have to be perfect to enjoy it. Sometimes 20 minutes of tidying is all it takes to make the whole weekend feel a little more relaxed.

And with summer winding down, I’m voting for less cleaning and more enjoying. 🌻

School Starts Next Week… Is Your House Ready? 🎒

Back to school is almost here! 🎒📚 If your house has been running on summertime, this is the week to start easing everyone back into a routine.

A few simple ways to make next week feel less hectic:

✨ Start moving bedtime and wake-up times a little earlier.
👕 Pick out outfits and organize backpacks ahead of time.
🥪 Stock up on easy lunch and after-school snack favorites.
📅 Put school dates, activities, and appointments on the family calendar.
🚪 Create a drop zone for shoes, backpacks, papers, and everything that usually ends up on the kitchen counter.
☀️ Do a practice morning so the first day doesn’t feel quite so rushed.

You don’t have to have everything perfectly organized—just a few small changes now can make that first week back feel a whole lot easier.
