ARKANSAS CONCEALED CARRY — the order matters. 🇺🇸
1️⃣ Take your approved fi****ms training class
2️⃣ Apply and pay with Arkansas State Police (online is fastest) — you’ll get a confirmation number
3️⃣ Bring me that confirmation number and your ID. I capture your prints and submit them electronically under the CCL prefix
4️⃣ Send in the rest of your packet and wait on ASP
Heads up: the state allows up to four months to process, so don’t wait until you need it.

MYTH: “Fingerprints are fingerprints.”

TRUTH: There are two totally different kinds, and using the wrong one means starting over.
🔹 LIVE SCAN — electronic, sent straight to Arkansas State Police. Used for most Arkansas licenses, employment checks, and concealed carry.
🔹 INK CARD (FD-258) — a physical card you mail in. Required when the agency is OUT of state, or for certain federal and international applications.
I do both. That’s the point. Whichever one your paperwork calls for, you’re not driving anywhere else.
