We are thrilled to announce that Tim Sullivan has joined Heyl Royster as a Senior Associate in our Champaign office!

With a unique and distinguished background as a federal prosecutor and former state's attorney, Tim will bring valuable trial experience to our thriving litigation practice in state and federal court. His background as an appellate law clerk will also be beneficial, allowing him to contribute important insight and persuasive arguments at all stages of a case.

His dedication to public service includes teaching at the University of Illinois Police Training Institute and mentoring attorneys through the ISBA Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentoring Program, making him a valuable addition to our team.

The firm proudly received the 2025 Campaign Achievement Award, recognizing an outstanding nearly 35% increase in employee participation over the previous year-a remarkable milestone made possible by the generosity and enthusiasm of our incredible Peoria staff. Office Managing Partner John Heil graciously accepted this award on behalf of the firm.

In addition, we are absolutely delighted to announce that Tobin Taylor has been named the 2026 United Way Campaign Chair. This extraordinary honor highlights Heyl Royster's ongoing passion for serving the communities where we live and work.
