Heirloom Herbal Cheese with Summer Flowers:
My friend MK kept it local except for the Himalayan Pink Sea Salt and a bit of garlic powder. She said, she "mashed up goat cheese with salt, chopped edible blossoms and herbs (including some dill bits from some that had "gone to seed", to give it a nice tang) + paprika which imparted the salmon color. Flowers include borage, pansies & and calendula petals, pressed in after the log was rolled (in parchment & refrigerated).

Another juvenile homicide in the P yesterday, another shooting out west of Sterling. If you live here, plug in somewhere. We have a great City full of wonderful folks with servants’ hearts. Many of us are trying to pull together all stakeholders to address this unacceptable and very real national crisis in our own backyard. You all are stakeholders if you live here. The time to get out of your chair and roll up your sleeves has arrived. It’s all hands on deck. All boats need to be rowing in the same direction. In such a time as this, if you aren’t willing to be part of the solution, you might check yourself to see if you haven’t become part of the problem. It’s similar to the fact that it isn’t enough to be not a racist. White folks need to be anti-racists.
