Peaches is one of our former rescue dogs that was foster failed by her mom a couple of years ago. She was with a friend of her mom's at the Corinne Jones Park, downtown Pensacola, and slipped out of her harness and took off down Government Street. She is skittish and unfamiliar with the area. Her mom had a possible sighting Wednesday night, but it was dark and she lost her in the woods near Barrancas and Pace by the railroad tracks. Mom is understandably frantic and we need sightings!

Please, if seen or found, call or text mom immediately. Let's bring Peaches home!!!

TROPICAL STORM 🌀: moving west-northwest @ 12 mph with max sustained winds of 50 mph

will pass near the northeastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula Wednesday, move across the eastern Gulf of Mexico Wednesday/Thursday, and reach the Big Bend of Florida late Thursday as a Category 3 major hurricane (115 mph winds).

Hurricane and Tropical Storm watches and warnings encompass much of the state of Florida.

For Escambia County: marine and coastal impacts, including dangerously high surf, deadly rip currents, hazardous marine conditions (strong winds and high waves) beginning Wednesday night into early Thursday morning; we will monitor for heavy rainfall and wind impacts
