💙 When a parent says, “I’m fine,” it may be time to ask a different question.
Instead of jumping straight into solutions, try asking: “What would make it easier for you to keep doing things your way?”
The answer may be something simple—getting up the porch steps, making it to a weekly card game, or handling another part of everyday life independently.
Listen first. Find out what matters to them and what they would actually like help with. Those conversations can also provide valuable context when it’s time to discuss estate planning, decision-making, and preparations for the future.
Brightwell Law helps families approach planning with clarity, care, and respect for the people at the center of the plan.
