African American Clergy Coalition invites you to a
Community Report and Discussion
Thursday, July 30, 2026 - 6:00pm
Sponsored and Hosted by the Ventura County Office of Education - VCOE at the
VCOE Conference Center
5100 Adolfo Rd, Camarillo, CA 93012
Food will be served.

In May, more than 125 people from 8 VC school districts came together to hear Black students and parents share their experiences of racial harm in schools.
On July 30th we come together to hear the findings of the May listening session, share recommendations, and identify actions to strengthen equity, safety, and belonging for Black students across Ventura County.
Please attend to assure the continuation of district efforts and accountability.

Background:
The African American Clergy Coalition has received an increasing number of reports involving racial hate speech and violence occurring in our schools.
The goal of this process is to support school districts in addressing racial incidents in ways that protect Black students.
With blessings for our shared journey toward Racial Justice,

Your CLUE-VC Board - Rev. Betty, Rev. Melissa, Rev. Benjamin, Nan, Tim, and Cynthia

Swap Meet Justice returns Sunday July 26th (9:00AM to 3:00PM)!

This month Swap Meet Justice and Unidos 805 are collaborating to create the Summer Block Party to bring music, food, and community all in one place, and this year we’re turning it up with a live tamborazo🥁🔥

Share with community members so they can enjoy free food, music, resource tables, and nonstop good energy from across the 805. As Unidos 805 states, “this is more than a block party; it’s where community connects, celebrates, and shows up for each other.”

Share the word! And expect more energy and more people!

Many just assume we are entitled to a 40-hour work week, the end of child labor, workplace safety, employee benefits, and a national minimum wage. These "advances" in our social contract were only made possible after long-fought battles by labor unions and the struggle is NOT over.
Justice For All Ventura County will be SALUTING AMERICA'S WORKERS & LABOR CHAMPIONS with a special program we call "LABOR OF LOVE" with live music, moments of Labor history, a light lunch and summer sweets, and a panel of our Ventura County labor leaders.
Tickets will be available July 30th!
