What an incredible day spent alongside fellow Rotary members from Rotary District 7630 volunteering at Camp Fairlee! 🏕️

As a new member of the Nanticoke/Seaford Rotary, I am so thankful for the opportunity to be part of something so meaningful. Our work day included yard clean up, restocking cabins and activity areas, planting new flowers and plants, and helping prepare the camp for the amazing campers and families who will enjoy it this season.

Camp Fairlee is such a special place. Located just past Chestertown Maryland on the Eastern Shore, it provides safe, accessible camp experiences, summer camp programs, and respite weekends for children and adults with disabilities. Campers have the opportunity to build new friendships, try new activities, discover their potential, and enjoy a true camp experience in an environment designed to support them. 

I also loved learning about the history of Camp Fairlee and the beautiful Fairlee Manor property. The camp sits on over 200 acres of rural farm near Fairlee Creek and has grown into a place that continues to serve families in such a powerful way!

Days like this are a reminder of how much good can happen when people come together with willing hands and open hearts. So grateful to Easterseals Delaware & Maryland's Eastern Shore, Rotary District 7630, and everyone who made this work day such a wonderful experience.
