Merry Christmas Eve! In order for our office staff to celebrate the true reason for the season with friends and family, our office will be closed Tuesday, December 23rd through Sunday December 28th. May God’s Blessings surround you during this most special time of the year!

UPDATE: We still have kiddos names available!!! We have a 3 year old, 6 year old, and some teens! The teens are easy to buy for because they basically want new clothes, shoes, and gift card! Would you like to be their Christmas Hero?

If you would like to sponsor a foster child for Christmas, our office has names/wishlists for each child! Please come by & pick a child’s wishlist that speaks to you! It’s so easy to purchase, and brings so much joy. All we ask is:

1-2 new outfits
New jacket to keep them warm and pair of shoes
New undergarments (if possible)
2-3 toys off their wish list

It’s that simple and takes so little to make such a big impact! With your help we can make these precious children’s Christmas truly magical!
If you can’t make it by our office, have no fear, we can bring the name to you, or email/text you a name.

Follow-up to my previous post regarding animals for the foster children's Christmas party: If you have a child enrolled in the High School FFA program, or know a high school FFA teacher, perhaps that student could bring their animal to the livestock pavilion for interaction with the foster children. Additionally, your student could remain with their animal, earn community service hours, and bring joy to a child's face.

Furthermore, volunteers/big buddies are needed to accompany the children, ensure their safety around the animals, and make their evening truly special. I am calling on high school, college students, and friends who wish to assist with our booth to make a positive impact on these children's lives. Are you ready to volunteer on December 8th?

Hello Ocala Friends and surrounding areas:

The Foster Foundation’s Annual Christmas Party for the foster children of Marion County is seeking your assistance in creating a memorable Western Christmas experience. If you own a farm or have experience working with horses, mini horses, petting zoo animals, livestock, or unique animals suitable for children, I kindly request your help. We are looking for animals such as goats, mini cows, ponies for pony rides, horses, pet chickens or roosters, and any other gentle animals that can interact with approximately 400-900 children. If you have an animal that could be the star of the show and make these children’s Christmas extra special, please let me know. We would need to arrange transportation for the animal to the Livestock Pavilion for the party. Please contact me if you have any suggestions or animals to offer.

I am also seeking recommendations for companies that provide pony rides and face painting services, similar to the excellent experience I had with a company I hired when Maddie was in preschool (I just can’t recall the company’s name). Even a mini horse that cannot be ridden would be a wonderful addition, as children would love to pet and interact with it. Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated!

It’s the most wonderful time of year again…..time to make a child in florida’s foster care Christmas more bright! All these precious angels want for Christmas is a family to call their own….while trying to make that wish come true, help us brighten their Christmas with new clothing & a few special toys!

Our office will have all these little Angel’s names on a tree again this year and would love (if you have the resources) for you to come help a special child in need. Kris and I have personally met many of these little angels through the amazing Foster Foundation and I can tell you how wonderful, amazing, precious, and grateful each of them are! These little Angels ask for so little, yet give back so much in Love!

Although many of our days are spent helping clients navigate through an often difficult time with Divorce, we also appreciate when we can work with couples in fellowship at our church. Tonight we are honored and excited to be group leaders at Church @ the Springs as we delve into a 6 week journey with the book “Better Decisions, Fewer Regrets”……it’s not too late to join us tonight, Tuesday at 6:45.
