Per Gary Gwilliam, attorney for the Bonneau/Saavedra family, “The Case Management Conference in this case was previously set for 9/29/26. However, it has been rescheduled to 1/7/27 due to the parties discussing possible resolution of the case. These discussions have now ended. We will be moving forward with litigation against Building Kidz Worldwide (BKW) and will be bringing in all individuals and related entities associated with BKW who were responsible for this avoidable and tragic wrongful death”.
“Our lawsuit was previously filed in part by identifying licensing No. 015700583. The Dublin facility’s new licensing No. is 015700704. An online search of the new number under the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) no longer shows our wrongful death lawsuit associated with Building Kidz of Dublin or that CDSS issued an enhanced civil penalty against the Dublin Building Kidz location for the death of Matthew Bonneau”, said Brittany Smith, Discovery Specialist with Gwilliam, Ivary, Chiosso, Cavalli & Brewer, the firm representing the Bonneau/Saavedra family.
