Elvis and Yuliana moved from Philadelphia back to Minnesota to be closer to family. While searching for their first home, they were temporarily living with relatives so they could save more money toward their purchase.
For more than two months, we searched and lost out on the first 3️⃣ offers—even after offering OVER asking price.
Then a townhome in Farmington hit the market. Yuliana and I toured it within an hour, wrote an offer immediately, and won in a multiple-offer situation. The best part? 𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒖𝒔𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒕 𝒚𝒆𝒕! 😅
Just when we thought we were headed to the closing table, we discovered during the final walkthrough that the seller had shut off the gas service. Rather than take chances, we delayed closing until the gas was restored and we could confirm everything was working properly. It wasn't the easiest decision, but it was the right one.
One of my favorite parts of this journey had nothing to do with the house. When I first met this family, their little boy E was about 10 months old and slept in his carseat the entire afternoon of showings. By the time we closed, he had celebrated his first birthday and is well on his way to walking around his very own home. 🎂 Watching him grow and show more of his personality along the way was such a fun reminder that this business is really about people.
Today, they're settling into their own home in Farmington and starting an exciting new chapter back in Minnesota. 🏡❤️
Welcome home, Elvis, Yuliana and my lil man E. And, as always, thank you so much to the team I have supporting both me and my clients every step of the way!
