September 19th was a great day for art, creativity, and community in St. Louis Park! 🎨

We were happy to join Friends of the Arts (FOTA) at the St. Louis Park Art Fair this weekend, which included over 90 artists, llamas, and puppies, in a family event that celebrates the creativity in our community every September.

At the FOTA booth, Meshbesher & Spence Partner James Sheehy and other FOTA board members also promoted the annual Trail of Small Wonders, one of the community events we were proud to support this summer. 🍄✨

And there’s more local art to come! FOTA’s Artist Showcase returns in January, with an opening-night celebration followed by an exhibition featuring artwork from local artists.

We love seeing the creativity and community that is nurtured in St. Louis Park through the promotion of the arts, and glad to be part of it.

Meet the attorney who doesn't have to imagine the road. She's on it.

Pam Spaulding rides. So when a client comes to her after a motorcycle crash, she's not guessing at what visibility looks like from the seat of a bike, or how fast a driver can misjudge a gap.

That matters, because insurance adjusters have a playbook for motorcycle claims, and step one is usually assuming the rider did something wrong. Too fast, not visible enough, should've seen it coming. Pam knows how to push back on those assumptions because she knows the road from both sides.

If you've been hurt in a motorcycle crash, you don't need someone who's read about riding. You need someone who rides.

Car accident cases often take patience.

After Angela was injured in a car accident, the insurance company made offers that she and her legal team did not believe fairly resolved her claim.

Instead of giving in just to get the process over with, Angela stayed the course.

Attorney Gus Nicklow was there alongside her as the case continued, and he shared how proud he was of Angela for sticking with it until an acceptable resolution was reached.

Cases like this are a reminder that behind every claim is a real person making difficult decisions about their recovery, their future, and when it’s right to say, “This isn’t enough.”

Thank you, Angela, for trusting Gus and the Meshbesher & Spence team to stand with you through the process.

Being seriously injured is difficult enough. Being hit by a driver who leaves the scene can add another layer of uncertainty, frustration, and unanswered questions.

After Terence was injured in a hit-and-run crash, attorney Rachel Smith stepped in to help manage the legal and financial issues that followed so he could focus on his recovery.

We’re grateful to Terence for trusting Rachel and the Meshbesher & Spence team during such a difficult time, and for taking the time to share his experience.

Thank you, Terence. And thank you, Rachel, for the care and attention you brought to his case.

A quick trip to the grocery store can feel routine, but the parking lot deserves just as much attention as the road getting there.

Between cars backing out, limited visibility, pedestrians, carts, and uneven pavement, there’s a lot happening in a relatively small space.

A little extra awareness can go a long way, especially in busy lots and during Minnesota’s fall and winter months.

👉 Swipe to see some of the parking lot hazards shoppers may not think about.

Labor Day weekend is about enjoying the last stretch of summer, spending time with friends and family, and hopefully getting a little extra time to relax. ☀️🌭

Whatever your plans look like, there’s one thing worth adding to the checklist: know how you’re getting home.

🚗 Drive safe.
🔑 Look out for your friends and don’t let someone drive impaired
🚨 If you see a suspected impaired driver on the road, call 911

Enjoy the cookouts, the lake days, the extra time with the people you love — and make sure everyone gets home safely.

A dog doesn't have to be aggressive to bite.

Many dog bites involve pets that victims already know, family dogs, a neighbor's dog, or a friend's pet.

Dog bite injuries can result in infections, permanent scarring, emotional trauma, and costly medical treatment.

In Minnesota, dog owners are generally responsible for injuries their dogs cause, even if the dog has never bitten anyone before.

If you or a loved one has been injured in a dog bite or animal attack, Meshbesher & Spence is here to answer your questions and help you understand your legal options. https://vist.ly/5gzan

Backpacks are packed. Lunches are made. The morning routine is back.

As students head back to school, our roads become a little busier—and a lot more unpredictable.

School buses, crossing guards, cyclists, and excited kids all become part of the morning commute.

A few extra seconds of patience can make all the difference.

✔ Slow down in school zones.
✔ Put your phone away.
✔ Watch for children crossing between parked cars.
✔ Give yourself extra time so you don't have to rush.

Let's help make this school year a safe one for every student, parent, and neighbor in our community.

📲 Share this reminder with someone who drives through school zones every day.

🚨 The workers' comp doctor says you're fine.

But you're still in pain. You're still struggling to do your job. And you're wondering why your body isn't matching what's written in the report.

Here's why this matters 👇

A doctor's opinion can influence:
💰 Wage-loss benefits
🏥 Future medical treatment
📋 Work restrictions
⚖️ Important decisions about your claim

If something doesn't feel right, don't ignore it.

Many injured workers assume one doctor's opinion is the end of the story. It may not be.

Trust what you're experiencing, ask questions, and make sure your concerns are being heard.

📞 If you've been injured at work and aren't sure what comes next, we're here to help.
