🚨 POLICE CONSTABLE MURDERED 💙🖤 Another hero has made the ultimate sacrifice. The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal - SPVM, Canada has identified the fallen officer as Police Constable Mohamed Lamine Benredouane, he was shot and killed while responding to reports of an armed suspect Monday afternoon. When officers arrived, the suspect opened fire, killing Constable Benredouane and critically wounding a female officer before being fatally shot by returning officers. Tragically, a civilian also lost their life during the exchange. Constable Benredouane was just 34 years old and had proudly served with the department since 2021. 💙 Rest Easy, Brother. Memphis police officer shot and killed while responding to suspicious vehicle report; 1 suspect dead

A police officer in Memphis, Tennessee, was shot and killed when officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle early Friday morning, police said. One suspect was killed and two other officers and another suspect were wounded in an exchange of gunfire during the incident, interim Police Chief Cerelyn Davis said during a news conference.

"We are heartbroken of the lives lost, our fallen officer and this senseless act of violence," Mayor Paul Young told reporters.

The slain officer was identified by Davis as Joseph McKinney, 26, who had been with the police department for about three years. The slain suspect was identified by the Shelby County district attorney's office as Jaylen Lobley, 18.

The men and women of the Memphis Police Department are hurt right now. As chief of police, I am hurt right now at, once again, senseless deaths in our community by gun violence," Davis said.

The shooting unfolded when officers responded to the suspicious vehicle call at around 2 a.m., Davis said. The occupants of the vehicle opened fire on the officers when they approached, Davis said.

Officers returned fire and the suspects drove away, Davis said. After a short pursuit, the suspect vehicle stopped. One suspect was immediately apprehended, and the other was taken into custody nearby after fleeing the scene. They were both taken to a hospital in critical condition with gunshot wounds, Davis said.

One of the wounded officers was taken to the hospital and their condition was not critical, Davis said. The third officer was treated at the scene.

Lobley was arrested last month on auto theft charges and released without bond, Davis said. When he was arrested in March, he had an illegally modified semiautomatic weapon, Davis said.

The second suspect was identified as a 17-year-old.

FALLEN HERO: Our hearts are heavy once again. A Massachusetts State Police Trooper was killed in the line of duty early this morning while attempting to intercept a wrong-way driver on Rte. 1 in Lynnfield. The crash occurred about 2:00AM when the driver traveling south in the northbound lanes struck the cruiser. Our thoughts and prayers are with all impacted by the tragic incident.

YOUR THOUGHTS? Utah’s four representatives in the U.S. House are taking action to honor two fallen heroes. A measure is being pursued to rename the Tremonton Post Office in memory of Sgt. Lee Sorensen, 56, and Officer Eric Estrada, 31, of the Tremonton Garland Police Department. On August 17, 2025, both officers were shot and killed while responding to a domestic violence call. Authorities say the suspect’s wife had called for help after being assaulted, and when officers arrived, the suspect opened fire, taking the lives of both officers. These men answered the call to protect others… and paid the ultimate price. Renaming the post office would serve as a lasting tribute to their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to their community.

Absolutely disgraceful that NYPD Sergeant Eric Duran has been sentenced to 3-9 years in prison for making a good faith decision to stop a fleeing drug dealer and protect other NYPD officers. Sgt. Duran was leading an undercover operation in the Bronx. The drug dealer was speeding away on a motorbike in the direction of two officers making another arrest. To stop the drug dealer, Sgt. Duran threw a cooler at the dealer knocking him off the bike causing fatal head injuries. Sgt. Duran, who had an exemplary record, was found guilty of manslaughter. His conviction and sentence are a terrible abuse of justice! Indefensible verdict and sentence!

TROOPER KILLED: The Oklahoma Highway Patrol sadly announced the line of duty death of Trooper Vernon Brake. On April 8, 2026, at 11:27 a.m., a vehicle traveling southbound on I-35 lost control for an unknown reason and crossed the center cable barrier. The vehicle struck Trooper Brake, who was traveling in the northbound lanes just south of Hefner Road in Oklahoma City. Trooper Brake was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle and a four-year-old passenger were also pronounced deceased at the scene. Rest Easy Brother. Prayers for his family of blue and blood.
