THE RIVER HAS CRESTED, BUT THE DANGER IS NOT OVER.

The White River reached a record 23.96 feet overnight, breaking the previous record set in 1913. Water levels are beginning to slowly recede, but flooding will continue throughout the day and additional rain could slow that progress.

Hamilton County remains under a State of Emergency. If you can stay home and away from floodwaters, please do. Emergency crews have already responded to water rescues this morning.
