Tonight’s results were not what we had hoped for, but I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported our campaign, volunteered, donated, prayed for us, encouraged us, and took the time to vote.
Running for judge has been an incredible experience, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to meet so many people across Hamilton County and share my vision for public service and the judiciary.
Most of all, thank you to my family, friends, and supporters for standing beside me throughout this journey. I am proud of the race we ran, and even more proud of the relationships and friendships that were built along the way. Earlier this week, I told many people that I knew we had worked as hard as we possibly could, and regardless of the outcome, I was at peace with that.
Congratulations to Angela Swenson on her victory, and thank you to all of the candidates who stepped forward to serve our community. I encourage my supporters and Republicans across Hamilton County to unite behind Angela and all of our primary election winners as we move toward the general election. Strong communities are built when people come together, and now is the time for Republicans to do exactly that.
My commitment to serving this community does not end with this election. I also want to encourage my colleagues in the legal profession to embrace the responsibility we have to serve and lead beyond the courtroom. Our community needs strong leadership, and members of the legal community should continue to play an active role in shaping and strengthening the place we all call home.
Hamilton County is a wonderful community, and I remain incredibly grateful to call it home. Let’s continue working together to keep it that way.
