Kindness is more than polite words or random acts of goodwill. It demands a commitment to human dignity, safety, and equality for everyone, everywhere.
Confronting Anti-Black Racism in the U.S.: True compassion requires speaking out against the systemic violence and tragic loss of Black lives to police brutality and racial injustice. Building a safer world means demanding accountability and systemic change.
Challenging Global Anti-Blackness and Afrophobia: Around the world, Black communities and people of African descent continue to face pervasive Afrophobia, structural inequality, and displacement. Global solidarity means rejecting every form of anti-Blackness.
Standing Against Xenophobia: True kindness knows no borders. Combating hatred means actively opposing xenophobic violence, discrimination against migrants and refugees, and the scapegoating of minoritized groups globally.
How to Take Action This Week:
Seek out Black, African, and migrant-led voices and organizations.
Interrupt racist, anti-Black, and xenophobic rhetoric in daily life and online spaces.
Donate to or amplify community groups fighting police brutality, supporting refugees, and advocating for racial justice worldwide.
