Property Tax Relief May Be Available for Hoosiers Impacted by Flooding

–Henry County Assessor Jodie Brown, is encouraging property owners affected by recent flooding to contact their office to learn whether they may qualify for a reassessment of their property's value.

When flooding or another disaster causes significant damage to a property, its value may be less than it was before the event. Your county assessor can help walk you through a process that may allow the assessed value to be adjusted accordingly.
