The AAA is a prestigious international organization committed to making alternative dispute resolution in legal matters more accessible. The organization is debuting a panel of Family Law Mediators for the first time in its history, and I am honored to be a pioneering member of this new panel!

Once again, I had a fantastic time at the annual Massachusetts Bar Association's Family Law Conference in Brewster, MA last weekend! We discussed & learned about the evolving child support guidelines and its interplay with alimony, as well as the nuances of business evaluations in asset division and support negotiations. And of course, we discussed the challenges of creating good parenting plans! I also enjoyed lovely meals with friends and colleagues, and an obligatory walk on the beach!

The holidays can bring up a lot — from sadness about how your family has changed to anxiety about communicating with your co-parent. After a full day of robust, educational panel presentations, friends & colleagues enjoyed long walks on the beach and festive dinners. As Att. Justin Kelsey recently posted, it's an honor to be a family law attorney, guiding families through a challenging time with knowledge and dignity.
