There are closings you’ll always remember, and this is one of mine. ❤️
This beautiful home at 3915 Royal Portrush Drive in Naperville’s Tamarack West officially closed, after being on the market for 15 days, and I had the privilege of representing both the seller and the buyer.
The story behind this sale is what makes it so special.
Several years ago, I helped these wonderful sellers purchase this home. They poured their hearts into remodeling it, creating a place where so many memories were made. When a relocation opportunity came along, saying goodbye wasn’t easy. Being trusted once again to help them through that transition meant more to me than they know.
At the same time, I was working with an amazing family relocating from Champaign to Naperville. We had toured many wonderful homes, and on the morning of one of our scheduled showing days, they stopped by my open house just to say hello before we headed out.
As we walked through the home, I shared not only the renovations, but also the story behind them, the care and craftsmanship the sellers had invested over the years.
We continued with the rest of our scheduled showings that day, but something was different.
No matter how many homes we visited, they kept comparing each one to 3915 Royal Portrush.
By the end of the day, they looked at me and said,
“We can’t stop thinking about that house.”
That’s when we all knew.
It wasn’t just another house they had toured, it was their future home.
Moments like this remind me that real estate isn’t just about buying and selling homes.
