Since joining the firm in 1985 after graduating from law school, Chris has become a trusted leader in business and real estate law and a valued part of the Muskegon community he proudly calls home. Parmenter Law is proud to announce the addition of Joshua D. Berndt as an Associate Attorney.

A graduate of Whitehall High School, Joshua is passionate about helping individuals and businesses navigate complex legal matters and find effective solutions. He earned his law degree from New York Law School in 2025 and previously graduated from Eastern Michigan University’s Honors College with a degree in Political Science.

Outside the office, Joshua is a dedicated Detroit sports fan—especially when it comes to cheering on the Lions!

Happy 1-Year Work Anniversary, Leanna! 🎉✨

We’re proud to celebrate Leanna’s first year with the firm! She has been an incredible addition to our litigation team as a paralegal. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, hunting, riding her motorcycle, and adventuring with her dog.

Leanna shares that she loves the relaxed, team-oriented atmosphere and the supportive environment that makes coming to work both enjoyable and productive—plus the bonus of watching ships on the lake in the summer! After a recent trip to Florida, she’s looking forward to warmer weather, getting back on her motorcycle, and making new memories outdoors. Thank you, Leanna, for a wonderful first year—we’re so glad you’re here! 💙
