Ravenoaks sits just outside Oregon, WI. Wooded lots close to an acre, winding cul-de-sacs, homes with actual character built in the 70s to 90s. Oregon School District. About 10mins to the village, 20ish to Madison.

With this weeks storms I have been talking with past clients and family about possible hail and wind damage.

Not all damage needs a claim and sometimes it's hard to know what you are actually looking at and how to approach repairs or the insurance side.

Why layout matters more than square footage:

Two homes can have the same square footage but feel completely different.

What usually makes the difference
• how the space flows
• room placement and connection
• usable vs wasted space

A well-designed 1,800 sqft home can feel better than a poorly laid out 2,200 sqft one.

Most people don't need a louder agent - they need a better process.

I work with buyers and sellers across Madison, Oregon, Verona, Fitchburg, Middleton, and surrounding areas, and my approach is simple:

-Give clear, honest guidance (not pressure)
-help you make decisions that actually hold up long term

Most homes show well in photos.

What you don't always see right away are things like roof wear, attic ventilation issues, or early signs of aging materials.

When showing homes, I'm looking just as much at how things are holding up as how they look today.

That kind of detail doesn't always change whether you buy a home - but in a fast moving market, it can completely change how you look at value.
