A $500,000 home and another $500,000 home can have VERY different monthly costs. 🏡💰

That’s why comparing homes by purchase price alone can be misleading.

Your real monthly ownership cost can include:

🏦 Mortgage principal and interest
🏠 Property taxes
🌀 Homeowners insurance
🌊 Flood insurance, when applicable
🌴 HOA or community fees
💡 Utilities
🔧 Ongoing maintenance

And those numbers can vary significantly from one property to the next.

An older home may have a lower asking price but higher insurance or near-term repair costs.

A newer home may cost more upfront but have newer systems, lower maintenance needs, or a different insurance profile.
