Este fue uno de esos casos.

Un empleador contactó a nuestra oficina cuando uno de sus empleados acababa de ser detenido. En cuestión de horas, la abogada Melisa Peña ya se encontraba en el centro de detención, reuniéndose con él, obteniendo los documentos necesarios e iniciando el proceso.

When people think about immigration cases, they often think about paperwork.

But many cases are time-sensitive, complex, and deeply personal.

This was one of those cases.

An employer contacted our office when one of his employees had just been detained. Within hours, Attorney Melisa Peña was at the detention center, meeting with him, securing the necessary documents, and starting the process.

When he was later transferred out of state, the case didn’t slow down. We continued tracking his location, communicating with the facilities involved, and preparing the legal response.

Within the first week, filings were submitted.
By the second hearing, bond was granted.

In less than a month and a half, he was able to return home.
