We are kicking off our 2025 Rodeo Season Fundraiser for Team Kowgurrrl Kulture ("Team KK") with a popcorn fundraiser!
Team KK is a youth empowerment group that I founded and our goal is to give local youth the opportunity to learn horsemanship, riding skills, and to participate in rodeo events in Georgia while focusing on self improvement, building self esteem and confidence, and learning to present with grace, love, and kindness to all we meet. We teach our team members that, even though we participate in a "competitive" sport, we do not COMPETE with others...we do not COMPARE ourselves to others...we focus on competing only with OURSELVES...we challenge ourselves to be a better version of "self" tomorrow, than we were today. We promote our concept of Kowgurrrl Kulture through "Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect". We work to raise each other up and the raise others up through everything we do. We strive to change the world around us, one act of kindness at a time.
We sponsor clinics and events at Happy Bottom Ranch in McDonough GA. We provide access to horses, lessons, and the opportunity to participate in various rodeo series.
We do not have financial sponsors so we are asking our friends, family, and community to consider helping this team of deserving young people by participating in our popcorn fundraiser. The team receives a percentage of total sales and these funds will help offset the costs of team t-shirts, awards, transportation, registration fees, clinics, events, etc. If you're interested in more information about our group, feel free to contact me or join our private FB Group, Team Kowgurrrl Kulture and come out to see what we do...join us for a clinic or a fun day event...or come cheer us on this season in Madison GA when we participate in the Wayne Dutton Jr Rodeo series. Our upcoming events include barn night sleepovers, a line dancing clinic in March with Line Dancing with Kipala, arts and crafts days, trail rides, and more. All of these things are provided at no cost to our team members and we greatly appreciate the support of our friends, family, and community.
