Please note that the Calhoun County Land Bank Authority will be closed on Friday, June 19th, as County and Court offices observe the Juneteenth Holiday.

Juneteenth is considered our country's second Independence Day, when slaves in Texas were informed they were free after the Civil War. Juneteenth became a state holiday in Michigan in 2005, and a federal holiday in 2021.

We look forward to serving you upon our return, Monday, June 22nd, 2026.

Scammers often steal photos from real estate listings and advertise homes as rentals.

🚩 Red Flags:
• The home is listed for sale but someone offers it for rent
• They won’t meet in person or show the property
• They ask for deposits via Cash App, Zelle, wire transfer, or gift cards
• Prices seem unusually low
• Communication stays in DMs or texting only

✅ Always verify listings with a licensed local realtor
✅ Never send money without seeing the property
When in doubt, pause and verify.
