I've spent my adult life wearing many hats – event planner, antiques dealer, decorator/stager, and piano teacher. With the advent of so many "flipping" shows, in 2015 I decided to look for a house to flip. Each Realtor friend I called to show me a home asked the same question, "Why don't you get your license?" I resisted for a while, knowing there would be plenty to learn about flipping, but finally went for it and at the same time, gave up the idea of flipping. Selling real estate turned out to be the perfect profession for me. I am married to Tray, a West Point graduate and marriage and family therapist, and we have two children. I share my husband's heart for ministry and have found real estate – helping people during a significant and stressful time in their lives – to be a wonderful way to serve others. I am a certified Senior Real Estate Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative, and a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club in 2016-2020. And besides the official stuff, I am responsible and trustworthy. My trademark is the amount of time I devote to each person and the tenacity I provide when marketing your property or searching for your next home!

We checked out Smash Hit on Cherokee Street in downtown Kennesaw, and this is a fun one. 🍔

It’s all about smashburgers, but not your basic burger. Think toppings like brisket, fried eggs, jalapeños, pimento cheese. And the sides deserve attention too: loaded tots, parmesan fries, Brussels sprouts.😋

The inside is colorful and a little quirky, and there’s a fireside porch that will be REALLY great now that our Georgia weather has decided it’s fall. 🍂🔥

Super casual, parking in the back, and right in downtown Kennesaw.

Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for somewhere new!

Psssst… interest rates aren’t the whole story. 👀

Yes, rates matter. Of course they do.

But I wouldn’t make a decision about buying a home based on interest rates alone.

I’d look at the bigger picture: Are you ready to buy? How long do you think you’ll stay? What does the monthly payment actually look like for you? And just as importantly—what can you buy in today’s market?

Because while rates may not be exactly where you want them, buyers have something they haven’t had much of in recent years: choices. More inventory, less competition in many price ranges, and sellers who may be willing to negotiate.

Waiting for the “perfect” interest rate doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get the perfect buying opportunity.

If you’ve been thinking about buying, let’s talk about what it would actually look like for YOU. I can connect you with a great lender, run some numbers and help you figure out whether now makes sense—or whether waiting does.
