I help injured people stand up against greedy insurance companies!

Jon Levine, one question.

You went looking for a contradiction and found a man who is against genocide, against white supremacy, and for the equal worth of every human being regardless of faith or color. Consistently. In every post you screenshotted. Across every year you scrolled.

What exactly is the scandal, Jon?

That is the part I want people to sit with. The most damning thing an opposition researcher could assemble about me is that I apply the same standard to everybody. That I do not need to check a person’s religion before deciding whether their life counts. That the rule is the rule whether the victims are in Gaza or Charlottesville or anywhere else.

You call that an exposé. I call it Tuesday.

Here is what your piece actually documents: I have never once made an exception. Not for a friend, not for a party, not for a convenient ally. And apparently that consistency is so unfamiliar to your newsroom that it had to be written up as a threat.

History does not have a lot of patience for the people who defended mass killing while it was happening. It never has. Every generation produces a group who insisted the thing in front of them was complicated, and every generation that follows reads their words and knows exactly what they were.

The record is being kept. It is being kept in your own paper, Jon, with bylines and dates.

Anti genocide. Anti white supremacy. Equality for all people, no asterisk.

That "I'm okay!" post you made after the wreck? That's slide one of the defense attorney's opening statement.

Here's what they don't show the jury: the wedding selfie on the dance floor, but not the three hours you spent sitting down afterward because your lower back locked up. The friend request from someone you "kind of know", who turns out to be a private investigator hired by the insurance company.

Do yourself a favor. Stay off social media while your case is open. Social media is a highlight reel, and the insurance company will use it against you.

Your lawyer will thank you. So will your settlement.

Jon Levine, thank you.

You described my sujood (prostration) in more anatomical detail than my own imam ever has. Hands. Knees. Face pressed to the stage. Posterior at a 45 degree angle. That is not reporting, Jon. That is a man who paused, rewound, and measured. You watched that TEDx talk more than once. I am flattered.

The talk is called “Beautiful Patience,” by the way. It is about grief, about faith, about what you do when the world takes something from you and you have to decide who you are going to be next. Jon watched it looking for something incriminating and came back with a description of prayer. That is the whole investigation. A Muslim prayed on a stage and a reporter wrote it down like a police report.

He also named me the most significant donor to two candidates, ran my FEC records, called a contribution a “jumbo gift,” and then had to hedge the entire finding with the words “potentially” and “if.” Those are the two saddest words in journalism, Jon.

The rest is a seating chart. My name, then a list of other people, each with a label already attached. Praise an author. Support a mayor. Work with a civil rights organization. The labels transfer. No claim about anything I actually did required.

And to his credit, he printed my handle and my signature exactly as I asked. So here it is again. Ibrahim J. Awad, Esq.. Ibrahim, aka AIPAC Slayer.

Still here. Still anti genocide. Still for equality for all, a position so radical it apparently takes a seating chart to make it sound frightening.

Watch the TED talk. Link in my bio. Jon already did.

"How do we respond to tests?"

That was the khutbah Ibrahim Awad, shared at Masjid Al-Athar last Friday. No courtroom, no title, just a reminder that we don't get to choose what hits us in this life, only how we answer it.

Some of the most important rooms have nothing to do with law. Grateful for the time with our Muslim community, and to everyone at Masjid Al-Athar who made us feel at home.

Is it selfish to spend time on yourself?

I struggled with this one. Right now I'm driving five hours to train with my longtime coach, Mr. Ben Kiker, five hours I could be spending with my family. For a long time that felt like taking something away from them.

But it's the opposite. By doing this, I show up as a stronger, better person for the people who need me. Self love is sacred, not selfish. Making an appointment for yourself isn't stealing time, it's an investment in who you are when you walk back through the door.

That's not selfish. That's selfless.

Hit by another driver in Marietta or Dalton, Georgia? Here's the evidence people lose in the first 48 hours. 🥋

The insurance company's worst nightmare is a well-documented case. Three things to capture:
1. What happened inside the vehicle. Did your glasses break? Did your phone screen crack? Was there a baby car seat that loosened up or became defective? All of that speaks to the force of the impact.
2. What happened outside the vehicle. Not just the bumper. When that bumper gets disassembled, what's going on with the shock absorbers underneath? That's where the real damage shows up.
3. What your medical providers document. Treatment notes, how much pain you're experiencing, every appointment. This is the most important piece of all.
Photograph it. Save it. Don't let it disappear.

I got a media inquiry about my politics with a three hour deadline. Here is my answer.

I believe in equal rights. One person. One vote. One law.

I oppose any state built on ethnic or religious supremacy. All of them. No exceptions, no favorites.

B’Tselem, Israel’s own human rights organization, calls it a regime of Jewish supremacy from the river to the sea. They call it apartheid. They call Gaza a genocide. Those are Israeli researchers. Take it up with them.

Antisemitism is evil. Full stop. Anyone fighting supremacy by adopting supremacy has already lost the argument.

Criticizing a state is not hating a people. I will keep saying it.

Deadlines don’t scare me. I’ve been hit harder than this.

Best coach I've ever had is 4 feet tall and calls me Baba. 🥋

"Stay focused." "Fake him." "Make him drop his hands so you have a clear opening." "1-2, then jump back."

He's not wrong. That's the whole game, patience, setup, then the shot.

It works the same way after a crash. The insurance company is counting on you swinging wild at the first offer. Stay focused. Wait for the opening. Then hit back with a plan.

The adjuster called you before you even saw a doctor. Do you know why they moved that fast?

Because the sooner they get you on record, the less you know about your own injuries. Soft tissue damage often doesn't fully present for days, and their timeline is built around that. The friendly "how are you feeling?" isn't a question about your health.

I've been doing this in Atlanta, Dalton and Marietta long enough to see the same pattern every time. Swipe through, three things to know before you pick up.
