This is Sandy. Today marks 6 months (1/2 a year) since Chris passed away from his challenging and aggressive Stage 4 Lung Cancer! People keep telling me that the days will get easier and honestly, the days have become more challenging. I celebrated my first Thanksgiving, my first Christmas, and my first birthday without Chris. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of him. Ziggy and I love you and we miss you so much!

for texting this to me on Tuesday! Chris is listed in the latest Virginia Lawyers magazine. His name is on the page where they list attorneys that have recently passed away. Chris enjoyed and loved being an attorney. I miss him so much each day! There isn’t a day that goes by I don’t think of Chris.

This is Sandy! I received the most amazing and precious card in the mail! Three wonderful friends made a donation to the SPCA of Pittsylvania County (where Ziggy was adopted and a rescue dog) in memory of Chris! Chris and I loved rescuing Ziggy and Ziggy loved rescuing us! Thank you so much for your kindness, empathy, and generosity!😊❤️🐾😍🐶

It is Sandy. The secretary of the Lynchburg Bar Association dropped these catered meals from Peakland Catering, food, and card with a gift to my house this evening! This made me cry knowing Chris is so loved in the legal community! Thank you so much to the secretary of the Lynchburg Bar Association, judges, and lawyers who made contributions to this amazing act of kindness and thank you so much for thinking of me, too! I greatly appreciate the legal community of Lynchburg!😊❤️😍
