She has over 21 years in Sales/Marketing and Business Management, with a Bachelor of Science Degree from San Jose State University. She held management positions at various hi-tech firms such as Microsoft Corp.& Senvid, Inc,-Western Digital, Corp. Also, Ann was in charge of the Education Committee for two consecutive years at the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors, which made up of over 10,000 members. She believes that Knowledge is Power, that's why she's always kept up-to-date knowledge of disclosure laws and the ability to negotiate the best deal for her clients. She believes that her job is more than just matching buyers to homes. Ann's responsibility is to put her client's best interest above all others, and represents them throughout the entire transaction. 🚨Stock market up! Bay Area Buyers & Sellers Don’t Care 🤷‍♀️ The Dow is up 900 points and everyone is watching Hormuz. Meanwhile, the Bay Area real estate market is quietly doing something most people never see coming.
Here’s what the actual buyer data looks like right now:
Boomers are 42% of buyers. They have 15 years of equity, they’re largely paying cash or rolling equity, and they are not waiting on rates. They don’t need to.
All-cash transactions? 26% of the market. Nearly matching first-time buyers — who just hit an all-time low of 21%.
Gen X is buying multi-generational homes. ADUs, aging parents, adult kids. That’s a life stage decision, not a rate decision.
Gen Z single women are buying at 35%. Real conviction. Real purchasing power. Almost nobody is talking about this.
The 10-day ceasefire is not a deal. Sophisticated buyers aren’t sitting on the sidelines waiting for geopolitical resolution.
