Getting ready to show your house while you're deep cleaning baseboards and hiding your dogs toys and the next minute you're crying in the bathroom looking at the tub your babies took bubble baths in.

Buying and selling houses has a lot to do with timing and numbers and all of that. But sometimes, the hardest part of moving is the emotions that come with it. It's normal to feel all the things.

When we sold our first home, I remember driving away after a very stressful 24 hours of packing with 2 tired kiddos and sobbed the entire way to grandmas house knowing we'd never go back. Moving can be so exciting and so sad all at the same time.

All of that to say, enjoy a photo of my baby in the bubble bath 4 houses ago and what feels like 100 years.

Buyers often discredit houses that ✅ check all the boxes- because they don’t like the photos they see online.

Sometimes the house that looks like it's straight from HGTV smells like wet dog, and the one that had pictures that weren't incredible ended up being the one my clients favorites!

This is why house hunting in person matters so much because there is so much a camera cannot tell you!

👏 I’m sure you’ve all just been dying to know the results of the Lincoln Choice Awards!

Sorry for the delay, I kept thinking I was going to find the perfect picture for some grand post but a car selfie will have to do because this is where most of my days are spent.

Out of the 1000+ agents in the Lincoln area, I am officially Lincoln’s 2nd choice for real estate. 🥈

If you can’t get a hold of Lincoln’s choice; I assure you I’ll be a promising second. 😆

All jokes aside, I don’t sell the most houses every year or always the highest priced houses and have yet to make it to Selling Sunsets. But I have helped some really great people just make some very ordinarily special moves and I hope- despite the inconvenience that moving really is- I made it the best move yet.

Thank you to everyone that voted & shared, and mostly for those that continue to pass my name on and calling on me when it’s your time. I’ll bask in the glory of being runner up for 2026. ♥️

It really is such a fun place for all ages whether you have little kids playing at the , like live music at on Tuesday nights or college kids checking out the downtown scene!
