Temporary Closure of the Rockbridge County Courthouse

Please be advised that the Rockbridge County Courthouse will be closed to the public for the next several days due to a significant water leak that has impacted the facility.

County maintenance teams are currently addressing the issue, and the courthouse will remain closed until it is deemed safe and fully operational. Updates regarding the reopening schedule will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.

The courts are currently working on alternate locations to conduct business. Rockbridge General District Court and Rockbridge Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court will be closed tomorrow, Monday, July 14, 2025.

Rockbridge Circuit Court will be holding Grand Jury in the Buena Vista Courthouse at 2039 Sycamore Avenue tomorrow, Monday, July 14, 2025, at 09:30 am.

All three courts will have staff available tomorrow via telephone and email to answer questions regarding the court schedule or alternate locations. Please utilize the following numbers:

We are very pleased to announce that Kent Gibson has joined our firm.
Kent graduated from the George Mason University School of Law. He has been in practice here in Lexington since 2013 handling matters in many different areas of the law.
Kent and his family live on a farm in the Fairfield area with cows, pigs and chickens.
