It has been a really rough year and many days that were so dark I wasn't sure I would survive. Life will never ever be the same without my PJ, my soulmate, my lover, and my everything for living. I am slowly learning how to live, and how to adjust to my new world. It is the most painful and hardest thing I have ever had to do. Some days are better than others and I know it will be this way for a long time.

Mostly I want to say thank you to my kids, Alexis & Mitch, Ali and Taylor, and of course, my reason for growing old, my grandson Roe.
I have had so many wonderful old (Sunni) and new friends, people who I thought were just mere acquaintances, people from so many days gone by, and those that I never dreamt that they ever gave me a second thought. All of you, and you know who you are have been my support the past year. I can't thank you enough and let you know how much you have meant to me. I really believe that even when the worst thing can happen we can always be surprised by something good that comes from it. I say thank you for being there, but that really doesn't give the credit you all deserve.

I will keep pushing myself daily to want to continue in this life and make the most I can without my PJ by my side. It still doesn't feel real. I kept thinking I was going to wake up and it was all just a bad dream. But it isn't and I have to grieve in my own way and at the same time try to find good in every day. If the one thing I have learned and I hope if even one of you gains something from my words, they would be, don't take any day, or minute for granted. In a snap of your fingers, it can all be gone. Live to love and love to live. Tell your loved ones how much they mean to you. Tomorrow may be too late. Slow down and spend time with your loved ones. Nothing is so important that it can't wait. I seriously love you all and for everything you have done for me.
