I like this. I don't have a list that compares, not even close. I've been on television, the radio, my name has popped up in newspaper articles, online magazines, and in a little over 40 years as an attorney, I've won awards, but only two that meant something to me. I hope I've helped people over the years, but I have no illusions that I will be remembered by anyone more than two generations after I pass from this world.

Someday, someone walking may see a stone with my name on it, with my name, two years, the words, "Husband, Father, Son. Grandfather," with the words, "I Tried" or something like that.

And keep in mind, and her family have also been implicated in Minnesota’s fraud scandal. For instance, Omar funneled cash to a clinic her sister ran while Omar held state office. The convicted “Feeding Our Future” mastermind Aimee Bock and Minnesota lawmakers implicated Omar in the $250 million theft of taxpayer money.

We're dealing with this where I live. The problem is a transparency gap among developers and many in government. The article raises the concerns people voice at public hearings, but too often the response is that the people who oppose are spreading "misinformation."

I moved from Seattle to Chattanooga in 2021. My house in Seattle was less than a mile from the Microsoft campus.
