The recent Flanders v. Goodfellow Court of Appeals decision has changed the game for dog bite cases in New York! 🐶💥

➡️ Old Rule: You had to prove the dog had a prior history of aggression to sue. 😬
➡️ New Rule: You can now hold negligent dog owners accountable, even if their dog has no prior history of aggression (i.e., letting the dog roam off-leash)! 🐕💡

🚨$600,000 Settlement Reached in Slip and Fall Case Prior to Jury Selection🚨

Jon Raimondo, Attorney at Law secured the settlement just days prior to jury selection. The settlement concludes a lengthy and complex legal battle on behalf of our client , who sustained serious injuries at a gas station as a result of a dangerous condition resulting from snow and ice cover 🚶‍♂️🌨🚧❄️

A critical component of proving the plaintiff’s case was the utilization of an expert meteorologist. The meteorologist’s analysis of weather patterns and historical data provided crucial evidence demonstrating the defendant’s awareness of the hazardous conditions that caused the plaintiff to slip and fall. This expert testimony was instrumental in establishing prior notice of the dangerous conditions, and the defendant’s failure to take appropriate preventative measures to remedy it.
