🧡 JUSTICE FOR KENDRICK 🧡

I have so much sympathy for every family who has lost a loved one to violence—especially those still waiting for answers, wondering who was responsible and why.

But there is another kind of nightmare: knowing the person caused your loved one's death is still walking freely in the same community.

Our family has been living with that reality.

The person charged in Kendrick's death is out on bond, and from what we understand, there are no electronic monitoring requirements, house arrest, anger-management requirements, or other restrictions of that nature. That is deeply concerning to our family, and we believe the community deserves to ask questions about whether the current conditions adequately protect everyone involved.

For years, we have questioned whether the full history surrounding Kendrick's death was properly examined—including the threatening messages and other communications that our family believes are critical to understanding what happened.

We are not backing down.

We don't have to create a story.
The messages speak for themselves.

We don't have to manufacture questions.
The unanswered questions are already there.

And we don't have to stop fighting simply because it's uncomfortable.

We are Kendrick's family. We loved him before he became a case, and we will continue fighting for answers long after the headlines disappear.

To every grieving family still searching for justice: we see you. We understand you. And you are not alone.

Today marks another year without my brother, Kendrick.

There are no words to explain what it feels like to keep living while carrying a loss this heavy. Some days feel impossible, but one thing that has never changed is my love for him and my commitment to keeping his name alive.

Kendrick was more than a headline, more than a case, and more than the way he left this world. He was loved. He was family. He mattered.

As we remember him today, I ask everyone to speak his name, share a memory, check on someone grieving, and remember that loss doesn’t end after the funeral.

We miss you every day, Kendrick. Your chair is empty, but your presence is still everywhere.
