However, the challenges of searching through increasingly vast amounts of discovery—spanning documents, audio, video, and images — can be overwhelming, costly, and time-consuming.

In this 45-minute talk and live demo, Ariel Deshe (former Colorado Public Defender and CEO of TrialKit) will share how investigators and defense teams can tackle today’s digital discovery challenges using AI and other modern technologies.

This session will focus on possible defense theories, the importance of collateral interviews, forensic interviews conducted by law enforcement or at child advocacy centers, and special considerations when talking to children. Investigators will learn about best practices when working with attorneys, as these cases can often present unique challenges.
