Never a dull moment while showing homes! 🐦🏡

Today we had a surprise passenger. A little bird flew into our buyers’ car, and we think he was hot and a bit stunned. So he came along with us from one showing to the next while he rested up. When we got to the second home, he perked up and flew away. 💛

Turns out he’s a White-eyed Vireo. You can tell by his olive-green back, the yellow “spectacles” around his eyes, two white wing bars, yellow sides, and that pale little iris. He’s not a baby. This time of year he’s most likely a healthy adult, or a young bird from this year’s nest, heading south for the winter to the Gulf Coast, Mexico, or Central America. ✈️🌎

We’re so glad we could give him a safe little break on his long trip. What a treat! 🥰

Some days we help people find their way home, and some days we help a tiny traveler get back on his way. 😉

P.S. He was happy and pooped in my hand twice LOL
