Client Intake Specialist — SWL Injury Lawyers Kansas City, MO (in-office)
Full-time | $50,000–$60,000 base + performance bonus
We're a Kansas City personal injury firm representing people hurt by someone else's negligence — car and semi-truck wrecks, motorcycle and pedestrian accidents, and wrongful death cases across Missouri and Kansas. Client service isn't a department here — it's the whole point. Injured people call us on the worst day of their life, and how we treat them in that first conversation matters more than anything else we do.
The role:
You're the first person a potential client talks to. You'll take inbound calls, texts, and web leads, listen to what happened, figure out whether we're the right firm to help, and guide qualified people through signing up. It's a people job and a sales job at the same time — no script, just building trust fast with someone who's hurting and often being called by three other firms too.
You're probably a great fit if you:
-Have customer service and sales experience, and you're proud of both
-Build rapport with a stranger in about ninety seconds
-Aren't shy at the close
-Stay calm and kind when someone is upset, scared, or angry
-Follow up without being asked and keep dozens of conversations straight
No legal experience or degree required — we'll teach you personal injury. We can't teach you how to be good with people. Prior intake, insurance, or medical office experience and Spanish are a plus.
Benefits: Quarterly performance bonuses, PTO and holidays, health/dental/vision insurance, retirement plan, profit sharing, and full training. Monday–Friday, in-office downtown.
