I’m Julie Wettstein, a seasoned Real Estate Broker with decades of experience helping buyers and sellers make confident moves here on Hawai‘i Island — especially retirees, second-home owners, and investors looking for clarity, support, and trusted local guidance. I grew up in a small ranching community in Southwestern Wyoming, where I learned the values that drive my business today: honesty, loyalty, integrity, community, and family. I married my high-school sweetheart, raised three daughters, and now get to spoil the cutest granddaughter ever. My two dogs love island life just as much as the rest of us. My family fell in love with Hawai‘i during a 2005 vacation, moved to the Big Island permanently in 2011, and we’ve never looked back. When I’m not helping clients, you’ll usually find me diving the Kona coast, swimming with manta rays, photographing nudibranchs, or exploring the ocean I love so much. I have truly loved helping this wonderful family purchase their very first home here in Hawaiʻi. From our chats and visits to the moment they received their keys, it has been such a joy to be part of their journey.

Their family’s roots in Hawaiʻi go back generations, and I know how much this milestone means to them. When buying a first home here can feel so far out of reach, having a place of their own in the community they call home is something worth celebrating deeply.

The Big Island is HUGE, and every area has a completely different feel.

For me, the decision became obvious once I realized the scuba diving and ocean access in West Kona matched the lifestyle I truly wanted.
