One thing to check is whether the property is leasehold or fee simple.

With fee simple, you generally own the property and the land it sits on. With leasehold, you’re purchasing the right to use the property for the remaining term of the land lease.

If you’re looking at a leasehold property, make sure you understand:
• How much time is left on the lease
• The current lease rent
• Future rent adjustments
• Financing and resale options
• What happens when the lease ends

A lower price can definitely catch your eye, but it’s important to know exactly what you’re buying before making a decision. 🌴
