This year, the Moot Court Board competed in 10 external competitions across the country! We brought home incredible results, including one team finishing as national finalists, three teams as national quarterfinalists, and one team as national octofinalists!🏆

Congratulations to Kurt Kraft and Cole Perry on finishing as finalists at the Cardozo FAME Center Intellectual Property Law Moot Court Competition!⚖️⭐️

Hosted by Cardozo Law’s FAME Center (Fashion, Arts, Media & Entertainment), this competition focuses on complex intellectual property issues at the intersection of law and creative industries, requiring competitors to submit briefs and present oral arguments on topics in copyright, trademark, and media law.

Taylor has been hard at work organizing and running the election process for our new Executive Board, making sure everything is coordinated and runs smoothly. The deadline to sign up for the 1L Closing Argument Competition has been extended to Tuesday, March 10 at 11:59 p.m. This is a great opportunity for 1Ls to practice courtroom advocacy and gain experience delivering a persuasive closing argument!

Thank you to everyone who came to the interest meeting—we had a great turnout and are excited to see so much enthusiasm for the competition! A special thank you to Hope Sage for presenting an example closing argument and helping give everyone a better idea of what to expect. We look forward to seeing all of you compete!
