☀️ Summer is here, and so are the injuries that come with it.
The season we wait for all year is also when ERs see the biggest spike in preventable accidents. Backyard pools, hot grills, unfamiliar rental homes, busy boardwalks: one bad moment can change everything.

A few things worth keeping in mind this season:

🏊 Pools: Never let kids swim unsupervised. Self-closing gates, working drain covers, and a sober adult on watch save lives.

🔥 BBQs: Keep grills 10 feet from the house, never leave them unattended, and watch for flare-ups when oils or marinades hit the flame.

🪜 New places: Vacation rentals, friends' decks, hotel pools, community parks. Unfamiliar property means unfamiliar hazards. Loose railings, broken steps, and slick surfaces are everywhere.

🛥️ On the water: Wear the life vest. Skip the drinks if you're driving the boat.
