A look at how a week actually starts around here, since people seem to picture something more glamorous.
Monday morning looks like a stack of paper and a whiteboard. Deadlines for the week get written down before anything else, because the ones that bite are never the ones you remember.
Then the calls. A lender with a question about a closing date. An agent who wants a second opinion before sending an amendment. A seller who read something on the internet over the weekend.
By lunch, the best-laid schedule has already moved twice. That is normal, and it is fine. The job is not predicting the week. It is handling the parts of it that change.
Nobody takes photos of that. It is still the work.
