πΊπΈ Your Social Media May Be Part of Visa Vetting
Starting October 1, 2026, the U.S. Department of State expanded online presence review to additional nonimmigrant visa categories, including I, TN, and TD visa applicants.
Applicants in these categories are instructed to set their social media profiles to βpublicβ or βopenβ to support the visa screening and vetting process.
If youβre applying for a U.S. visa, understanding current screening requirements and how they may apply to your situation is important.
