🚨 Transparency Test: Comal County’s Block List Raises Free‑Speech Concern 🚨

The Hawk’s Eye obtained the Comal County Sheriff’s Office block list through an open‑records request. It shows more than 50 accounts barred from the department’s social‑media page, prompting questions about transparency and free speech at a time when law enforcement uses these platforms to reach the public. Our report looks at the list’s implications in light of recent Supreme Court and Fifth Circuit rulings on officials blocking critics online.

Traveled to DC & did a thing today 🌟

I was officially admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court 🇺🇸⚖️ — an incredible honor and a humbling reminder of why this work matters.🔥‼️

Photos were only allowed outside the courtroom — everything inside stays in memory.

I also had the opportunity to hear oral arguments in Watson v. RNC, involving Mississippi and federal Election Day law.

And I’ll say this — the Court has personality… and humor. Real, thoughtful, sharp personality.

Grateful. Honored. Motivated.

Vincent Law, PLLC Deeply honored to stand among leaders, colleagues, and friends at the Houston Trial Lawyers Association ⚖️, Black History Brunch—gathered not only to reflect on history, but to recommit ourselves to the work ahead. Hearing Congressman Rep. Al Green of Texas’s 9th Congressional District speak so powerfully about courage, justice, and legacy was both humbling and motivating. Moments like these remind me why our work matters.

A Texas man on the state's s*x offender registry said Wednesday that state officials have misinterpreted state law by disallowing federally convicted individuals access to the state's deregistration process.

Thank you The Hawk’s Eye - C & N for bringing my client's story to the public.

🚨⚖️ Filed — and already in the headlines.
I (Vincent Law, PLLC ) initiated a Federal Civil-Rights lawsuit against the City of Magnolia and Magnolia PD arising out of a dismissed DWI arrest and related constitutional violations 📜.

Notably, the defendants have not yet been served with process, yet the case has already drawn media attention.

Civil-Rights litigation is trial work. When Constitutional protections are violated, the remedy is in federal court before a jury.

Federal court. Jury trial requested. 🏛️
Accountability is pursued there. This is the work. 💪

🚨 Federal Civil-Rights Lawsuit Filed Over Dismissed Magnolia DWI Arrest 🚨

A newly filed lawsuit in federal court alleges that a February 2024 traffic stop in Magnolia escalated into an unlawful arrest, an invasive blood draw, denial of medical care, and lasting reputational harm.

The case names the City of Magnolia, Police Chief Kyle Montgomery, Officer J. Cortez, Officer T. Galvan, and Sergeant P. Hudson in connection with the stop, arrest, and related decisions. Court filings claim no traffic violation occurred, question the basis for the DWI investigation and warrant, and state toxicology results later showed no alcohol or unlawful substances. Prosecutors ultimately dismissed the charge after about ten months.

The lawsuit also alleges denial of prescribed medication during detention and public social-media posts about the arrest that caused personal and family-court consequences. The filing seeks damages, attorney’s fees, and a jury trial.

All allegations remain subject to challenge and must be proven in court.
